SmadAV 7 release

In Rev. SmadAV 7 times this has been enhanced to be much faster and lighter in detecting and securing your computer from virus threats in Indonesia. New features added such as Smad-Turbo (Scanning 10x faster), Smad-Theme (Changing the color theme), and Smad-Ray (Auto flash is very fast scan). This all makes SmadAV become one of the fastest antivirus and lightest in the world, so SmadAV still be used on computers with lower specifications though. In addition, too many improvements made to the view that the overall SmadAV SmadAV easier and practical to use.

PC Media Antivirus (PCMAV) 2.0c Valkyrie

Magazine PC Media edition 07/2009 I received last Thursday, I opened a new DVD this morning. As time, I zip the directory PCMAV 2.0c is included in this edition, and upload it to sites hosting the files I used to use.

In this newest PCMAV has added an introduction to 51 new viruses so that the total virus that are recognized and addressed by 2.0c PCMAV is virus 2771. Things new and improvements made based on 2.0c PCMAV readme.txt files that are included are as follows:

UPDATED! Added to the database 51 identifying and cleaning local virus / foreign / new variants spread in Indonesia reported. Total 2771 virus and its variants, including variants Conficker sophisticated viruses that circulated in Indonesia, many well-known in this version 2.0c.
UPDATED! Cleaner and RTP already supports the latest generation of engine ClamAV 0.95.
UPDATED! Added khsusus cleaners that can handle a lot of viruses Risa make changes to the configuration of Windows.
BUG FIXED! Cleaner sometimes can not be executed when RTP is switched on. This problem was caused by a process that "hanging" in memory.
BUG FIXED! RTP in certain circumstances to detect Cleaner (or vice versa) as a "suspected virus".
BUG FIXED! In some conditions and certain computer configurations, sometimes RTP would not run and show both the error message "For first usage or upgrading to newer version, ..."
Improved! Now advanced heuristic engine can be optimized to detect polymorphic variants of many viruses spread in Indonesia.

Panda USB Vaccine is a free utility from Panda Security Research which helps prevent malware infections due to the autorun feature of Windows Operating Systems. Once executed the user can choose two types of vaccinations: Computer Vaccination or USB Drive Vaccination.

USB Vaccine allows users to vaccinate their PCs in order to disable autorun completely so that no program from any USB/CD/DVD drive (regardless of whether they have been previously vaccinated or not) can auto-execute. This is a really helpful feature as there is no user friendly and easy way of completely disabling autorun on a Windows PC.

Panda USB Vaccine can be used on individual USB drives to disable its autorun.inf file in order to prevent malware infections from spreading automatically. When applied on a USB drive, the vaccine permanently blocks an innocuous AUTORUN.INF file, preventing it from being read, created, deleted or modified. Once applied it effectivelly disables Windows from automatically executing any malicious file that might be stored in that particular USB drive. The drive can otherwise be used normally and files (even malware) copied to/from it, but they will be prevented from opening automatically. Panda USB Vaccine currently only works on FAT & FAT32 USB drives. Also keep in mind that USB drives that have been vaccinated cannot be reversed except with a format.
